Eric Schroeder is the Director of the Summer Abroad Program. He has taught at Davis since 1984 when he was hired as a lecturer in the English Department. In addition to English, he teaches in the American Studies Program, the Integrated Studies Program, the Nature and Culture Program, and as of June 2004, the newly created University Writing Program. He has taught in the Summer Abroad Program since 1988, offering courses in Scotland, Australia, and South Africa. In 1996, Dr. Schroeder won the Academic Federation's Excellence in Teaching Award.
