Hi and thanks for visiting our site! During my first experience studying abroad, I visited eleven countries in South America, Africa, and Asia. My international education experience convinced me that study abroad is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you won’t regret! You not only learn about yourself while abroad, but you also learn another way of the looking at the world and meet many amazing people in the process. Since my study abroad experience, I’ve lived and worked in Brazil and Turkey, taught ESL to foreign professionals and students from over 15 countries, and have done research in Cuba, furthering my belief in the benefits of international exchange. Now, I am at the EAC, where I love to work with students to make study abroad part of their undergraduate experience. As the Summer Abroad program coordinator, I am happy to talk to you about your UC Davis Summer Abroad program options to find a program that fits with your academic and personal goals. Remember, you can always travel abroad, but study abroad is a unique opportunity you don’t want to miss!
