I’d like to personally welcome you to the UC Davis Education Abroad Center.  Education abroad is in my bones.  My most formative years as an earth scientist were spent abroad, often in remote regions of unsurpassed natural beauty among native people, foreign colleagues and friends, and an occasional polar bear.  Geology has been my excuse for international travel and lifelong learning for 20 years.  I urge you to give it a try by participating in one of our education abroad programs.  I guarantee it will change your life.
