Hello, and welcome to UC Davis Quarter Abroad!  As the Quarter Abroad Assistant it is my job to guide you through the application process and make sure that you have an unbelievable experience while participating on one of our programs.  We offer quarter length programs that are led by UC Davis faculty members and generally focus on developing your language skills while introducing you to the culture of another country.  In addition we have programs that examine the biodiversity and ecology of South Africa, provide pre-med students with clinical experience in Mexico, or set you up with an internship in the heart of London.  Whatever your interests may be, studying abroad will provide you with academic and life experience that will not only change your perspective on the world, but instill you with skills that you can carry with you as you leave college.

Having studied for a semester in Galway, Ireland, completed my Masters degree at Cambridge University in England and traveled all over the world, I know what an incredibly challenging and exhilarating  experience studying and living abroad can be.
It will push you to understand the world and yourself in a different way and provide you with memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.  I hope to see you in the Education Abroad Center one day soon so that you too can become inspired to study abroad and expand your world!
