I have spent my last four summers abroad, the last three in Brazil working on a community development project and the summer before that in England on an EAP program. My time abroad has proven the truth of this quote – I never do return quite the same. It is for this reason that I encourage everyone I know to travel abroad—it presents a rare opportunity for growth, a sort of crash course in personal evolution, that is really unique. By studying abroad you will learn more about yourself than you had thought possible; your ideas will be challenged, your convictions often strengthened, and you will return with more strength and independence than before.

The Education Abroad Center is here to help you explore, dream, and discover places outside of Davis. As the Outreach Coordinator I have the awesome job of bringing this opportunity to you. Drop by our office or visit our table set-up at fairs and around campus to gather information and speak to study abroad alumni and program advisors. Go abroad – you will not regret it.
