Hi - as the UCD Quarter Abroad Program Coordinator I'm here to help you answer that question. As a former UC Davis student and EAP participant to Sydney, Australia, I found that study abroad offers the chance to have a transforming cross-cultural experience that can give you insight into yourself and others, build your confidence, and academically challenge you - all while having fun!

This quote by Daniel J. Boorstin describes what I hope for you as a traveler in a global educational experience (and what I hope you avoid):
