"Study abroad is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It gives a student a more well-rounded view of the world. UCD students are already known to be bright, figuring in the top 12% in the state. What gives them the edge over the other students with the same major, same gpa, graduating from the same college? Study Abroad and Internships!

When students return from a study abroad experience they are rejuvenated, more tolerant, less judgmental, more educated about how other cultures live, enlightened, more mature and confident about who they are. Their study abroad adventure is many times a life altering experience. As an academic advisor, it's very rewarding to be able to assist students in this path toward adulthood."
