Submit photos from your study abroad experience for a chance to win prizes and to have your pictures featured around campus!!
Who may enter:
Any UC Davis student who studied abroad during the 2007-2008 academic year.
What to enter:
You may submit up to 2 amateur photos per category that you took while abroad.
The photos should capture an experience or record an observation abroad, and somehow represent the ideals of study abroad (academic learning, cultural appreciation, international awareness, sensitivity, and fun).
Please submit high resolution unedited digital pictures (minimum size 1400X1050 or 300dpi).

How to enter
You must submit BOTH digital and hard copies of your photo(s), along with a Contestant Information Sheet, in order to enter the contest.
Submit your digital photo to eacucd@ucdavis.edu.
Bring hard copies of your photo(s) and a signed Contestant Information Sheet to the Education Abroad Center.
Entry deadline
Photos and entry forms must be received by no later than October 24, 2008.
Judging
All entries will be judged by a panel of judges within the EAC. The entry with the highest overall score in each category will receive the prize. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding in all regards.
Prizes
First place in each category will receive a gift certificate to the bookstore.

The Education Abroad Office reserves the right to use all submitted photos on the website, in printed informational materials, and with other study abroad promotional items.
The Education Abroad Office reserves the right to deem a photo “inappropriate” and/or ineligible for competition. Failure to follow the guidelines and/or falsification of information on the entry form will result in immediate disqualification for the contest and forfeit the student's claim of any prize money or other items.
By submitting photos for this contest the individual authorizes and consents to the use of his/her name, photograph, and likeness by The Regents of the University of California without reservation or limitation. The submitter agrees to receive no compensation. Property rights to any photographs of the undersigned produced or prepared by The Regents of the University of California, or any agent thereof, pursuant to this authorization and consent, shall vest in and remain with The Regents of the University of California. Said photographs of the undersigned may be used via print, the Web and any over-the-air and/or closed-circuit broadcast transmission facility. The undersigned by his/her signature below waives any cause of action for personal injury and/or property damage by virtue of the taking and use of photographs as herein described by The Regents of the University of California. This authorization and consent shall be binding upon the undersigned heirs, successors licensees, agents and assigns, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
