Hi, my name is Mirella Ceja-Orozco and I'm a senior Political Science and Native American Studies double major. I studied abroad in Oaxaca, Mexico in 2005 and in Accra, Ghana this last summer. Both were amazing opportunities I will never forget. My experience provided an entirely new perspective of politics and globalization. As someone of Mexican descent, the experience in Oaxaca exposed me to a different part of my culture. I learned so much more than I would have ever learned inside a classroom. In Ghana, I learned so much about the person I am and strive to be both academically and professionally. Being a political science major, it was essential that I fully experience and understand distinct political systems which affects so many people around the world. I loved my programs and highly recommend it to anyone who want to be part of a life-changing experience. Study abroad. Te va encantar!
