We at the Education Abroad Center believe that opportunities to discover, learn about and engage with other cultures challenge our students to rethink the way they look at the world. Study abroad experiences cultivate respect and understanding, and in this way enhance community and diversity at UC Davis. Through academic coursework, internships and experiential learning, we strive to promote the internationalization of the entire campus and to foster global citizenship.

The Education Abroad Center assists all UC Davis students realize their goal of studying, working or volunteering abroad. We recruit, advise and select students for the UC-wide Education Abroad Program (EAP), UC Davis Quarter Abroad (UCDQA) and UC Davis Summer Abroad (UCDSA). We also maintain information about a variety of opportunities at other universities and independent study abroad programs as well as work and volunteer abroad options. We assist students with program assessment and selection, application, pre-departure orientation and re-entry. We work closely with faculty and staff in departments and colleges to ensure that your study abroad program works seamlessly with your regular studies.
