Education Abroad Center
Resources for Advisors

Your knowledge, expertise and support are critical to the Education Abroad Center's mission to help students choose a study abroad program. Without you, we could not perform our jobs and students might not have the opportunity for an educational experience of a lifetime. You, as the consistent link to students, are the conduit who ensures that students stay on track academically while participating in an international educational experience.

For the past three years, we have been engaged in an important initiative called "academic integration." This effort aims to work with staff and faculty advisors to create advising tools which will make your jobs easier and that will benefit your students immediately. If we haven't worked with your department to customize these advising tools, we hope to make that connection in the near future. I invite you to browse the link on this page, "Credit for Degree." You will also find the links "Minor in Global International Studies" and "FAQ's on Study Abroad" a excellent recourses for general questions you and your students may have.

On behalf of the entire staff at the EAC, I offer our deepest gratitude for the important work you perform and for your willingness to encourage your students to achieve their academic, professional and personal goals in an international setting.
